Today's diet was way off the mark. It started out just fine, but then I was busy working from around 3pm until 6:30pm and by the time I got home, it was nearly 7:30. I didn't have anything thawed out, so I made a few bagel,egg,and cheese sandwiches. I picked up the bagels at the store this morning and didn't realize that each bagel had 9g of fiber! That helped keep me pretty full,but wrecked my stomach. Lesson learned.The scale did show up 3lbs lighter from Monday's weigh in, due to the extra water weight from the weekends festivities. It's a pain in the ass to diet during football season ;)
Workout
As I mentioned yesterday, I'm doing Lyle McDonald's specialization cycle, this go round, focusing on my chest and quads. In the past, I've sort of neglected regular leg exercises, but after constant knee pain while running, I'm making it a point to do so. I was diagnosed with ITBS(iliotibial band syndrome) and I'm pretty sure it was due to weak quadriceps. Anyhow, the workout was short but effective.
